Commission A Holds Fit and Proper Test for KIP Candidates

Now only 15 people left. In accordance with the law, this test must be carried out by Commission A

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission A, held a fit and proper test for candidates for Jakarta Public Information Commission (KIP) for 2020-2024 period. It was attended by 15 participants who had successfully passed the previous selection stage.

The fit and proper test was held openly by involving all Commission A members from nine factions. Members who could not attend the meeting room should undergo the process through the zoom meeting application.

Jakarta KIP Socializes Right to Know Day

Commission A Chairperson Mujiyono said that the fit and proper test was the last stage of the 83 participants who had previously taken psychological tests, interviews and Personal Characteristics Tests (TKP).

"Now only 15 people left. In accordance with the law, this test must be carried out by Commission A," he expressed, at City Council Building, Wednesday (9/23).

He explained the test result would then be submitted to DPRD Chairperson Prasetio Edi Marsudi, which was then forwarded to Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan in order to set the elected KIP members under the protection law of the Governor's Decree (SK).

"For the announcement later, the executive will schedule it. Hopefully the new KIP members are more professional, has quality in providing information to the public and can work together with the DPRD as a partner," he hoped.
